Frisian Flag 2022 the Afternoon of 01/04/2022

Each year, the Royal Netherlands Air Force (RNlAF) organizes the NATO exercise Frisian Flag. This exercise lasts for two weeks.
During that time, most participating aircraft are based at Leeuwarden Air Base. They fly two sorties per day, except on the last day.
After the corona pandemic it was good to see that Frisian Flag would again take place in 2022.
However, due to the invasion of Ukraine by Russia in February 2022, it was unsure if Frisian Flag 2022 would go ahead.
Luckily, the RNlAF could find replacement for the assetts that could not come due to the situation around the war in Ukraine.
On 1 April 2022, after I left the Leeuwarden Air Base, I went to see the afternoon session of departures and arrivals from the outside again.
