During Frisian Flag 2017 I had the opportunity to go watch the aircraft on 3 different days. This was my first day.
Each year, the Royal Netherlands Air Force organizes the NATO exercise Frisian Flag. The exercise lasts for two weeks.
During this time, most participating aircraft are based at Leeuwarden Air Base. They fly two sorties per day, except on the last day.
